Last week Grupo Eventoplus organized a conference in which professionals of the sector met to talk about the current situation of the of events and to do some networking and evaluate the first impressions of this second season of the year.

On Wednesday 7, 15 hotels in Barcelona that had already opened their doors to the public attended. This is very positive and encouraging news for the professionals of the sector who shared the new security measures they have adopted to prevent the COVID-19 as well as their new marketing strategies to attract more customers, especially national ones. Some of them opened that same week, such as the Majestic Hotel or the Alexandra Hotel, two centrally located hotels that are symbols of the city.

On Friday the 9th it was the turn of the venues for events and different groups of restaurants. More than 40 people attended this meeting in which the current consumer trend was analyzed, the measures that the government has been applying in recent months and how this had affected the management of the spaces as well as to share ideas for the reactivation of the sector and to clarify health measures.
