Don't miss Christmas!

It is a fact, 2020 is ending and although it has been a very difficult year we have managed to reach December. Hooray!

Christmas is just around the corner and, although the measures imposed by the COVID-19 prevent us from celebrating it as usual, the Christmas spirit can not decline. We will be less, but we will be more united.

Christmas in Barcelona

Since this year we are going to celebrate Christmas in petit comité, let's see some points in favor for this holiday of maximum 10 people:

  • A bigger Christmas tree: Who hasn't dreamed since childhood of a giant tree the size of New York's Rockefeller? Okay, maybe we are exaggerating but the fact that we have many people together has always been an impediment to having extra Christmas decorations due to lack of space. So this year, instead of investing in more food we can invest in more decoration and bigger one.

  • Tables with more charm. It is true, some years it had gone out of our hands, the family was growing but the table was the same size and we barely had space for the new guests. This year we are not going to have that problem so... why not make the Christmas table we have always dreamed of? Intimate tables, decorated with a Christmas center, Christmas lights and garlands, dishes, for the occasion ... This year we are going to show off! And in case you didn't know, there are equipment rental companies with crockery, glassware, cutlery and beautiful tablecloths that they rent out to companies but also to individuals. Take a look at Crimons who this year are raffling off the Xmas Box!

  • New menus. Since everything is changing so fast, why don't we change the menu as well? Give yourself a break, you deserve it. So, what if we hire a specialized caterer for our Christmas menu? You'll be amazed. There are many caterings that have a lot of options so as the caterer 21 de Marzo says, ask for Christmas a la carte!

  • Further away but closer. Let's take advantage of the fact that during the quarantine we have all got used to video calls and take advantage of the toast time to do it virtually with those who have not been able to be with us this year. Being more distant doesn't mean being further away.

We are sure we won't forget this Christmas. So turn the tables on, bring out the positives in every situation and let's keep doing what we do best: meeting with our people and celebrating.

Happy holidays!
